From Jane Brumley. This is the orginal journal of Jim Bowden's store dated 1898/89. I am not sure of the exact location of this store but I think it was somewhat near the center of the Island. My father had this journal. His mother was a Bowden before marriage. (Note: Only a few accounts will be shown. Others may be requested.)
