Cornelius Edward Jones 1822-1891 was moved from a ditch along the ferry road. He was original buried on Curtis Fentress property on the right hand side of the ferry road and that's where the tombstone laid for several years. He was also my great-great grandfather. It is untrue that Millard Lynn Smith was Leonard. Millard Lynn Smith was the brother of Arseneth. Arseneth Smith (wife of Cornelius E. Jones) was the daughter of James Smith, Jr and Letitia Grimstead. Hattie Jones Poyner (was the mother of Hortense Poyner Parkerson) was one of 4 daughters of Joachium Beasley Jones and Arseneth Smith.
