Schools on Knotts Island

The youngsters of the island go to three schools. There is an elementary school for grades K-6 right here on our side and after that they go to middle school and high school on the "other side" in greater Currituck County. The middle and high school kids have to wake up earlier and get home later their classmates. This allows for the ferry ride to and from school.
